New Yorker in Tondo

We took visual artists from Baguio, Iloilo City and Zamboanga to get a glimpse of life in Zone One Tondo a month ago. The houses on the top are floating on styropor so that when demolition commences the owners can just move their shacks. We also visited the houses clinging on the bridge. The houses were so small that they can not even stretch their legs when they sleep.
