Glowing Cats

Three kittens in Korea were cloned by manipulating a fluorescent protein gene. The press release siad that the cloing "could help develop treatments for human genetic diseases." That may seem the best way to justify what the Korean scientists really wanted all along: a glowing cat. Under UV rays, the cats (they were born last January) do glow.
