Having worked in advertising, specifically the Itaas mo! campaign of SMB in 2003, I can say coming up with innovative (or award-winning) ads is easy. It's when the ads are presented to clients that becomes a problem.
We have a saying in advertising, "You're only good as your client." Of course, convincing a client to approve great ads is another issue. Doon nagkakatalo.
Most of the time, it will all boil down to who pays for the ad in the first place. Pag sinabi na ito ng client, tapos ang usapan.
