February 15 is National Sea Monkey Day. Drink Brass Monkey. This should not be confused with the International Sea Monkey Day which is held on May 16.
February 16, 1986 was the day the Duvaliers fleed Haiti after 28 years of rule. Also Aretha Franklin's birthday and the day when Ike Turner (Tina's ex) was arrested for cocaine possession.
February 17 is Feast of Fools in Ancient Rome.
February 18 is Spenta Armaiti of the Zoroastrians. I think wine is permitted.
February 19 is the birthday of Lee Marvin, who once said,

“Tequila. Straight. There's a real polite drink. You keep drinking until you finally take one more and it just won't go down. Then you know you've reached your limit.”

February 20 is the Northern Hemisphere where they say, HOODIE DOO to scare winter and usher spring. In the Southern, American Tonga no longer American. Drink kava. Also the birthday of Kurt Cobain in 1967. Dylan Thomas arrived in 1950 in the US for a series of poetry readings (these things don't merit such news in this stupid times so we drink)
In February 21, 1988, televangelist Jimmy Swaggert confessed to having sinned. Yey! In 1965, Malcolm X was assassinated (silence before first order).
February 22 is National Margarita Day.
February 23 is the Ancient Rome's Terminalia. Feast of the God of Boundaries.
February 24. Flight of Kings Feast again by the Romans
February 25 is International Quiet Day. Drink in silence. DomC cannot.
February 26 is the birthday of Jackie Gleason and Johnny Carson who said, I knew a man who gave up smoking, drinking, and rich food. He was healthy right up to the day he killed himself.
February 27, 1833. God talked to the Mormons and told them, No more alcohol, tobacco and hot drinks. In 1958, dozens died in New York drinking a home-made liquor named, King Kong. And, of course, in 1986, FM and IM fleed the country.
February 28, 1525, Cuauhtémoc is assassinated. If you can pronounce that, you don't drink. 1919 -- India: Gandhi launches satyagraha campaign. Again, no drink. But in 1980, 1970 -- Led Zeppelin performs in Copenhagen under the pseudonym Nobs, because of a threat of suit by Count Evan von Zeppelin, a relative of the airship designer Ferdinand, if the band play under the name Zeppelin in Denmark.
