The Loneliness of Being a Seattle Sports Fan
I instinctively looked at the NBA West standing looking for the Sonics. Haaay! Not only did the Emerald City lost its basketball team but this early, the Seahawks are on to a losing season. Ibanez might be out. The Mariners were at the bottom of the baseball season and they did not even get the top rookie draw. What is there to cheer now? The Huskies?

The Huskies and The Cougs are also in the doldrums on the football end of things. The joke in town right now is that at least one of these teams will be celebrating come the Apple Cup.
People out here are waiting for Husky basketball season to get started. At least we're starting fresh on that end.
