Ichiro: Eternal Sunshine in the Spotty Ms

Yes, the only exciting thing in Seattle Mariners remains to be Ichiro. He tied Lou Gehrig's record of with his eighth season of at least 200 hits and 100 runs. Gehrig reached those benchmarks in 1927-28, 1930-32, 1934 and 1936-37. Ichiro did it in consecutive seasons. Wow! Anyway, a trivia to baseball fans. It wasn't Babe Ruth who was the first to hit the ball out of the new Rizal Coliseum in the 1930s. It was Lou Gehrig.
