Holy Patience and Internet

From Harper's: A community of Welsh Cistercian monks who had been relying on a dial-up Internet connection opted to get a broadband connection. "Patience is one of the characteristics of monastic life," said Father Daniel van Santvoort, "but even the patience of the Brothers was tested by our slow Internet."

This reminds me of what Dr. Joey T sent me a month ago about his i-Tipid card which is really tipid or thrifty in baud rate. At 2.4 kbps, it's a test of patience talaga.
