I have a hard time watching The Departed. I maintain that Infernal Affairs was better served without having a US remake. It's ironic that Scorsese had to be inspired by a Hong Kong film to get his butt into gear. To add to the irony, Infernal Affairs was really inspired by old Scorsese movies too.

san ka nag-ukay? yung kaibigan ko rin naka-ukay, sa palengke pa, ng 100 of solitude na may ganitong note sa front pages:

"hon, this is our second copy. i hope you don't lose it again."

i just love used books. especially if the owner jotted down some notes. it's as if whole new dimension (the owner's personality) is added.

now about your rare moment of generosity...

[feeling any generous?]
