makes me wonder what was in the water amorsolo was drinking when he painted those psychedelic and overly romanticised farming scenes. i was standing next to a big amorsolo mural/copy when a consul came with a non-pinoy and proudly waved her hand and said "and this is a typical filipino farm..." I nearly choked on my gin and tonic....
nevertheless, how i wish that those farming scenes were indeed real...especially those girls bathing in da ilog...
