Disaster Month
July is the Disaster Month. UP Baguio had it in their billboard that it is the Disaster Consciousness Month. Shldn't it be Disaster Unconsciousness Month? Session Rd still bore the scars of the July 1990 Earthquake. The former Hyatt lot is still unsold. Nevada Hotel has been replaced with Nevada Square but it is still dangerous this time because of the gangs. And this foreigner is so paranoid about Session Road pollution that I always see him going around with his luggage and a gas mask with too many filters. We tried talking to him but his words were muffled. He said, Hi, Baguio! But I doubt if you believe him. Hi to Nash in Brazil, Volume Addict in Seattle, Mandaya in Davao, Kristine in Canada, Willi in godknowswhere and Mayumi in London and, of course, Ada. Keep the faith. That's the greeting in my cellphone.

Foreigner or from a galaxy far far away?

Even I never wore anything that resembled his getup when we had our gas mask exercises in my stint in the military.
It actually looked more like he was attending a rave, if anything.
I've gotta put some Aphex Twin on the CD player now, excuse me!
Frank, I know this guy very well. He's a professional herbalist who worked in the US for 10 years before he and his family moved to Baguio City. His wife and his kids are now based in Cebu.
He hates pollution. He's vegetarian. He's very, very smart.
Because he is a good friend of mine, I will not tell you where he lives.
May picture pa nga ako sa kanya with his family...He is a foreigner...very interesting guy. His kids are very smart.
Thanks gob
