Why Manila Is Not Good For You

It's more than the pollution, it's also the information overload. The billboard skies, the waves of sidewalk vendors and the maniacal bus drivers. This also helps make you dumb. Read this from Boston Globe
"The mind is a limited machine,"says Marc Berman, a psychologist at the University of Michigan and lead author of a new study that measured the cognitive deficits caused by a short urban walk. "And we're beginning to understand the different ways that a city can exceed those limitations."

This has always been the challenge of urban planners in the modern age. It's perfectly fine for me to only visit Manila and not actually live there.
