Obituary Politics

Lakay Vergara, after losing his mayoralty to the even older Braulio Yaranon, decided to change his political campaign and started going to the funeral parlors and condoling on whoever were the loved ones of the dead there. He still lost but the lesson had been as old as Philippine politics. Suffice it to say that last week:
a) Villar paid his respect to Tia Dely, the Ann Landers of Philippine radio
b) Roxas paid his tribute to Mang Pandoy, the chosen "man of the iskwa (slums) in the SONA I think of Erap or was it FVR?
