Singgalot
The Singgalot Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit highlighting 100 years of Filipinos in the United States will open at Remy's Art Gallery, 2126 West Temple Street near Alvarado, on August 2, 2008, from 11 am to 4 pm. The opening is being held in conjunction with the Historic Filipinotown Festival in Los Angeles and will continue through October 2008. This is the first tour city since the exhibits showing at the Centennial Celebration during FANHS Conference in Hawaii.

The opening reception is the same evening- August 2 from 8-10 pm. It's free! and there will be presentations, music, food.
