Beijing Olympics Media Center Open

Beijing Olympic organizers opened the Games media center, the biggest in Olympic history. The Main Press Center, near the Olympic Stadium, will be formally inaugurated on July 8, one month before the Games begin. Covering 62,000 square meters on four levels, the press center is the biggest in Olympic history and is expected to house up to 6,000 accredited journalists and photographers for the Games, which will be held Aug 8 to 24. Besides the many work stations and conference rooms, the press center includes restaurants, a gymnasium, a massage parlor and a barber shop aka censor.
