Kuwan's Book Contest is Over and the Winners are...

It was a heartwarming contest because it had maybe 70 entries which shows that Pinoys are really reading although some are still reading Grishams, Ongs (Bob not Charlson) and JD Salinger. Well, the whole cache goes to the winners. Here's the generous donor, Jun Lana, on the results. The enbelop pliz:

If you're interested, here are the ten (Ok, 13) books that the winner last read (with her comments):

1. After Dark ni H.Murakami

5) The Kiss of the Spider Woman ni M. Puig

7) Music for Chameleons ni T. Capote

9) The Sound of Waves ni Y. Mishima

10) A History of the World in 10½ Chapters ni J. Barnes
nirecomenda sa akin ng isang kaibigan

11) Me Talk Pretty One Day ni D. Sedaris

12) Remains of the Day ni K. Ishiguro
magandang simulan at tapusin

13) Choke C. Palahniuk
magaling mag-maneobra ng kuwento, nakakaloko ang plot

David Sedaris was on Jon Stewart's show last night. He talked about moving to Japan to quit smoking.
