Mango Tree

There is a story by Roderick Osis, who went to Kalinga with Nonette for a week, about Lubuagan elders wanting to declare a century-old mango tree to be a National Heritage Site. This mango was supposed to have been planted by Emilio Aguinaldo when he passed by there almost a century ago. Don't ask me if he had the time to plant it. Ask them. Because I am inclined to believe the elders. If George Washington can cut a cherry tree, then our first president must have planted the mango tree. That means we are a nation of planters.
